Introduction Center
World Heritage Institute of Training and Research for the Asia and the Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (Beijing)

The UNESCO World Heritage Training and Research Centre for the Asia-Pacific Region is a non-profit organization engaged in world heritage research and training education. Its headquarters secretariat is currently located in Shanghai, and it has three branch centers in Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou respectively. The Beijing Center is under the dual management of Peking University and the Secretariat of the National Commission of the People's Republic of China for Education, Science and Culture. In 2019, it completed the reorganization of its organizational structure and adjusted its affiliated management unit to the School of Archaeology and Museology of Peking University
